Expanded upon client's knowledge and desire for demolition alternatives. Property received landmark status from City prior to acquisition. Property owner and DM proposed partial deconstruction for historical documentation and preservation to satisfy Landmark Commission and community. DM was responsible for the selective deconstruction of architectural items and also became the GC for the Abatement of Asbestos as well as the demolition of the property.
Deconstruction Management salvaged material for resale and returned 70% of the net proceeds back to the property owner. All material was sold within 60 days.
